Feedly (or how I know so much about so many different topics)

The year was 2005 and I was in my first job. The Internet was new-ish, and blogs were starting to become more popular. I hated going to website to website to see what new content there was. And it was so messy! Enter Google Reader, an RSS feed reader. During my lunch breaks, I kept up on nonw defunct blogs like the Best Week Ever, the Consumerist and the Pioneer Woman before she became a brand and was still hosted on Blogspot. In 2012, Google announced they were shutting down and I was devastated. What to do?!

Thankfully I found Feedly, another news aggregator that had been around for a few years. They figured out a way to import all your feeds to their platform. I made the move and have been a happy customer ever since! I say customer because when Feedly offered their lifetime Pro membership for two days when it came out in 2013, I happily paid the $99 fee.

So, if you’re looking for a way to keep up with Google alerts, blogs, newsletters, etc, make sure to check out Feedly. And add my feed there!
